Blockchain social network startup Block.one has acquired the domain name Voice.com for $30 Million from MicroStrategy.
This $30 Million domain sale is the highest reported all cash domain sale in history. GoDaddy facilitated the sale of the domain name between the two parties on May 30, 2019.
The news broke today when Business Wire released a press release about the deal. The domain is being used by Block.one, a blockchain startup social network to create a platform called Voice.
GoDaddy Aftermarket VP Paul Nicks confirmed the deal via his twitter handle @PaulENicks this morning.
We're happy to have brokered this sale via our Domain Broker Service. MicroStrategy was a great seller to deal with, but this would not have happened without https://t.co/bJ26hXqign understanding the real value of a killer domain. https://t.co/jOg4iffpUF

In conclusion, I believe Block.one made a great choice in a startup name with Voice, and the name Voice.com should suit them and their blockchain social network platform well.
Currently there is a beta access request form on the home page of Voice.com. I’ve already signed up to check it out when it’s available. Will you be signing up? What are your thoughts?
