Google is hiring for their X Team at the Moonshot Factory.
X Development LLC. (formerly Google X) is an American semi-secret research and development facility and organization founded by Google in January 2010, which now operates as a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. X has its headquarters about a mile and a half from Alphabet’s corporate headquarters, the Googleplex, in Mountain View, California.
Work at X is overseen by entrepreneur scientist Astro Teller, as CEO and “Captain of Moonshots”. The lab started with the development of Google’s self-driving car.
On October 2, 2015, after the complete restructuring of Google into Alphabet, Google X became an independent Alphabet company and was renamed to X.

Google / Alphabet launched X Company on the domain X.company on October 2, 2015 after after the complete restructuring of Google into Alphabet. Google X then became an independent Alphabet company and was renamed to X.
Early this morning a good freind at AZ Company alerted me to the fact that Google had acquired the domain name X.team and was now redirecting it to their X Company Careers page. I truly enjoy the way Google is using new top level domains.
We are no longer stuck in the era between the early 1990’s and early 2000’s with only a handful of domain extensions to choose from. While .com is still the most registered domain by number (mostly because many people don’t know of the new possibilities yet), the internet is evolving with new frontiers of internet real estate to be explored and developed.
New domain extensions like X.team being used so wisely by Google are a big part of that evolution. It takes innovative and out of the box thinking companies like X Development to help pioneer the way, so that other web developers and organizations will see you can develop a successful product on any extension.
Here is a list of openings from X at this time.
