Voice.company Domain Name Forwards to Google

The domain name Voice.company forwards to Google as of June 4th, 2018.

I'm wondering if they registered it, or if someone else forwarded it there after registration? It was previously in cue to drop, as of June 3rd, when I checked. One of my hobbies and interests is domain name investing and development. As part of my strategy for obtaining names I want, I often keep a close eye on the ones I am interested in. Recently I was following the domain Voice.company. I thought of many things I could do with this domain name for development purposes. Voice has been a major up and coming technology for quite some time now. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, and others are creating all types of voice related applications for use in the home, vehicles, workplace and just about anywhere.

For example Alexa by Amazon is one of the most popular household voice command clients used by 39 Million people.

Apple's Siri has been around quite a while as well for use on the iPhone, and Microsoft introduced Cortana the personal assistant with Windows 10 and it's also available on Android and other devices. Those are just a few of the many voice related devices. Artificial Intelligence also comes largely into play with voice, as we recently saw Google release their more realistic text-to-speech service powered by DeepMind’s AI, reported by The Verge. Google also has a project called Google Voice.

Back to the domain name Voice.company.

I'm a large fan of the .company domain name extension and own of few of the names myself. Google currently owns a few .company domains names and has live websites developed on some of them, so it wouldn't be too unimaginable that they had recently registered the domain Voice.company with a vision in mind of hosting a project for their voice related products. A few domains Google owns ending in .company are: X.company - X Development LLC G.company - Official Google / Salesforce partner Before GDPR  (General Data Protection Regulation) went into effect on May 25th, it would have been easy to surf over to DomainTools.com, WhoIs.com or your favorite domain name research website or application and find out whose name or organization was tied to the WhoIs records, but with the new data privacy rules in place, the normal method of finding out who registered domains has become more cumbersome. I'm hoping for a new WhoIs method of determining domain name ownership to surface soon, but in the mean time I'll continue speculating that Google registered this grandiose domain name. Leave a comment below: What are your thoughts on voice technology, ai, and the future? Who do you speculate registered the domain name?
